Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 Overview
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 is a high-performance robot cleaner designed for larger homes and demanding cleaning needs. With up to 20,000 Pa suction, it handles dirt, pet hair, and debris with strong cleaning power.
A standout feature is its smart retractable radar which lowers to fit under low furniture (only about 9.5 cm clearance needed), along with edge-focused brushes and mop pads that reach walls and corners precisely.
The self-cleaning base station automates much of the maintenance — it washes mop pads with hot water, dries them, and auto collects dust into a large dust bag, minimizing user effort. Combined with a large clean water tank, you get fewer interruptions.
Runtime is excellent: up to about 140 minutes in standard vacuum + mop mode on a full battery. Through the Xiaomi Home app, you can set cleaning schedules, virtual no-go zones, voice controls, and benefit from smart carpet detection so the unit lifts the mop over carpets to avoid wetting them.
